CONTRACT - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

LAPRAAC MEMBER ~ Pool Grills ~

The LAPRAAC MEMBER MUST BE PRESENT AT ALL TIMES

Pricing: There is no charge for use of the grills in the swimming pool area to LAPRAAC members. Only LAPRAAC members can reserve the grills.

Beginning and Ending Times: LAPRAAC agrees to reserve the grill(s) as specified in this contract. LAPRAAC shall not be responsible for delays caused by the MEMBER, acts of God, civil disturbance, other persons, or utility interruption. The MEMBER agrees to release any and all occupied function space and to remove all non-LAPRAAC property located therein at the ending time specified. If the MEMBER requests the use of the grill(s) for any time beyond the hours of the function set forth, such request shall be subject to the approval of LAPRAAC.

Swimming Pool Area: The swimming pool is available for your use however; it will not be used exclusively for your event. Other LAPRAAC members have use of the pool at all times, and other functions may have made arrangements to use the pool. MEMBER is not allowed to obstruct, in any way, the use of the pool area by other members.

Food and Beverage: Food and non alcoholic beverages may be brought to the pool area from off-site.

ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PERMITTED IN THE POOL AREA

ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS OF ANY KIND IS PERMITTED IN THE POOL AREA

ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE CATERING OF ANY KIND IS PERMITTED IN OR AROUND THE POOL AREA

ABSOLUTELY NO “POT LUCK” TYPE DISHES ARE PERMITTED IN OR AROUND THE POOL AREA

Trash: All trash must be picked up and placed in containers at the conclusion of your event. Failure to do so will result in a cleanup fee

Use of Grills: MEMBER is allowed to reserve two (2) grills at 10 guests per grill, for a total of 20 people per reservation. The MEMBER must pick up the pool keys from the LAPRAAC Administrative Office the day of the event; if the event is on the weekend, the keys must be picked up the Friday prior to his or her reservation of the grills. Keys must be returned to the LAPRAAC Administrative Office the following work-weekday of his or her reservation of the grills.

Entertainment/Music: No entertainment or music is allowed in the pool area. No decorations of any type are allowed in the pool area.

Damages to LAPRAAC Property: The MEMBER agrees to pay LAPRAAC for any and all damages arising from occupancy and use of the facilities by the MEMBER, MEMBER’s contractors, guests, and any persons present at the function. Such payment shall be due upon submission of invoice by LAPRAAC.

Security: The LAPRAAC may require the MEMBER to use the services of the LAPRAAC security staff or other designated agency approved by LAPRAAC to provide reasonable security at a function. MEMBER agrees to be responsible for and pay for security services that are assigned specifically for the MEMBER’s function.

Terms

This reservation will remain tentative, subject to cancellation by LAPRAAC, until this contract is signed and received by LAPRAAC
Failure to adhere to these Rules and Regulations could result in, but is not limited to, denial of the privilege to use the facilities in the future.
